About L.G. Shepherd
Lashun Grant, known as Lashun Grant, The Shepherd, is a Georgia-based visionary, mastering the fine craft of colored pencil and ink illustration. Her professional path took flight in 2022, initially designing graphics for apparel and custom accessories. Evolving through her practice, she discovered a deep passion for portraying authentic human emotion through detailed portraiture and other original art work. By 2024, her signature brand, sheepheadsstore, emerged as a showcase for her versatility in graphite, ink, and acrylics across varied media. Dedicated to creating timeless pieces, her goal is to deliver art that resonates.
In addition to commission work, Â the artist is in the midst of writing graphic novels titled 'Generation Epsilon: Rosebud' and 'Monoculous'. Â These two novels explore science fiction and future realties based on current economic and societal trajectory.Â

Generation Epsilon: Rosebud
The year is 2109, where the political tensions of the world nations have reimagined borders, governments and economies. New domestic class has formed under a failing repressive regime in the southern half of the former United States. Militia groups have formed from former dissipated foreign military occupation. The group of men terrorize the local residents of targeted small towns, captured by them to be sold into indentured servitude. The story follows a young black girls experience into this new reality.Â

Monoculous
Set in 2100, a humanitarian vessel navigates toward the Egyptian conflict when sudden unrest strikes, crippling all onboard systems. As the captain triggers emergency protocols, mounting chaos descends into a thick, disorienting fog. The ship drifts toward an unknown shore while the crew desperately attempts to regain steering. Their efforts fail as the vessel violently shatters against a rocky coastline, leaving the survivors stranded.
